It’s already October again! Let’s embrace the falling leaves, pumpkin picking, sweater wearing, and something else.. Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness.
This is the time to support those suffering from loss of a very precious kind. Whether it be from a miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth, or the loss of an infant. We should all be kind, supportive, and aware of the suffering these families face.
October was announced as National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month by president Ronald Reagan in 1988. So many mothers, fathers, grandparents, siblings, and family members suffer and grieve in silence. This month lets take a moment to remember these babies, and their families.
Pamela Gammon Photography would like to remember by giving back. This is our second annual giving back for Pregnancy and Infant Awareness Month. We are accepting nominations through the end of the month of October, for a deserving family who are being blessed with a rainbow baby. A rainbow baby is born after the loss of another. If you know someone who is expecting and has suffered through one of the losses listed above, please help us and nominate them. The chosen family will get either a free maternity, or newborn photography session.
To Nominate a Deserving Family: Please include any details about the family, their struggles, your contact information as well as their contact information. Send nominations to Pamela Gammon Photography, by email firstname.lastname@example.org, through our website here, write us a letter, or give us a call. Nominations will be considered if the family has been blessed with another baby, yet remembering the loss of their other.
Let’s all come together and surround, support, and send our love to those in the community who have experienced this kind of pain.
