Colorado Springs Birth Photography | Ariah’s Arrival

Where do I begin? What a gorgeous and beautiful day this was! A new life was welcomed into the world. Miss Ariah was born on September 17th, 2016. I was able to capture this wonderful event. What a true joy!

Ariah you are wonderfully made! We arrived the first time at 11:00pm on the 16th. However the nurses didn’t think you were quite ready to be born yet and sent us home. We came back less than an hour later, because you were determined to prove them wrong!

Once we were all back to the hospital your mommy labored long and hard with you. Her nurse Karen was a dream. She is an incredible nurse and helped your mommy so much!

Finally at 7:35 am a beautiful baby girl was born. You were born with a full head of black hair. Your weight was 6 pounds and 9 ounces. We were all so emotional. And you were so worth the wait Ariah!

You came out pouty and sad. It was obvious to all of us that you were not happy to be out of mama. Even the doctor joked that your middle name should be rascal, since you took your time coming out. You did make them work so incredibly hard.

And as the photos prove you are deeply loved. Your mommy is so in love with you. She worked tirelessly to birth you baby girl. She was so incredibly happy to hold you in her arms.

I am so blessed to be in the work of capturing this kind of beauty. The photos of your first breaths Ariah, are like none other. These are the kind of photos that are priceless. And your Mom is in love with these photos of your birth.

I am so very glad to have captured this day for her.  There is no greater day than the day your child is born. What a Miracle! Thank you Bussler family for allowing me to capture this gorgeous day for you.
